Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Services (METS)

USAID Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Services (METS)

The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI)a woman-owned small business, has been awarded a five-year, $2 million Monitoring, Evaluation, and Training Services (METS) contract to provide expertise and capacity building services to USAID’s Resilience and Food Security (RFS) Bureau. This contract will support RFS staff to routinely apply rigorous monitoring, evaluation, and learning to track progress, facilitate performance-based and adaptive management, remain accountable on its commitments, and learn more about effective and evidence-based approaches to development objectives and outcomes in resilience, food and water security, sanitation and hygiene.

The METS contract will provide strategic contribution towards measuring progress and improving policies, and programming that drive improvements in agriculture-led growth, nutrition, resilience, and water security, sanitation and hygiene. This investment in strengthening the MEL practice is particularly noteworthy in light of the Administration’s recent $10 billion commitment at the United Nations General Assembly to end hunger and invest in food systems at home and abroad.

I4DI brings to METS formidable monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) technical experience, having implemented over 150 performance, impact, and developmental evaluations in 47 countries across agriculture, food security, resilience, and WASH sectors for clients such as USAID, USDA, the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, and private sector partners such as Mars, Inc. and Gap Inc. Additionally, our in-house software engineering division will bring to USAID our tech-forward approaches and latest analytic and data visualization solutions to present powerful insights in an engaging interactive format that effectively facilitates evidence-based decision-making.

I4DI looks forward to partnering with USAID in this important work.
