I4DI designed a participatory ex-post outcome evaluation to harvest the outcomes and review impact of all projects involved in Counterpart International’s USAID-funded Leader with Associates (LWA) Civil Society Strengthening in order to generate evidence of results and lessons learned. The study involved a comparative analysis based on a document review of 521 program documents form 16 projects, statistical processing and analysis of project reported performance indicator data, as well as 22 comprehensive key informant interviews from 8 out of the 16 projects involved selected for in-depth review. I4DI provided the client with key findings and recommendations on emerging leaders, capacity building, social partnerships, social integration and scalable solutions to inform the development of a new strategy for the organization.
