The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) is pleased to announce our most recent contract to evaluate the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food for Progress Exporting Quality (EQ) Project in the Dominican Republic (DR), implemented by the International Executive Service Corps (IESC).

USDA FFPr Exporting Quality (EQ) Project aims to increase i) agricultural productivity in targeted high-value horticulture and vegetable value chains through capacity-building activities; and ii) trade of high-value horticulture and vegetable products by improving product quality, increasing production efficiency, increasing the value of post-harvest products, and enhancing marketing and market linkages.

I4DI will conduct a final evaluation and deliver IESC and USDA the analysis of EQ Project’s impact, effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, and sustainability which will help inform USDA’s design of future interventions. Harnessing I4DI’s expertise in agricultural market systems and value chains, our Evaluation Team stands ready to support USDA and IESC increase the quality and safety of agriculture products in the Dominican Republic.
