I4DI provided performance management services to Mars. Inc covering business process review, knowledge asset mapping, technology systems review, and redesign of a comprehensive performance management system for activities supporting sustainable sourcing of cocoa in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Services included 1) a performance monitoring and impact evaluation plan to increase the sustainable impact of Mars Indonesia’s value chain, 2) organizational and programmatic Theory of Change involving principles, policies, and partnerships upheld in the value chain, and 3) assessment of strategies and interventions to provide best sustainable practice approaches applied to cocoa production and management.
