Municipalities for Youth in Kosovo Project

The Institute for Development Impact (I4DI) is implementing a two-year contract with the Municipalities for Youth in Kosovo project that will run from March 2022 to January 2023. The World Bank-funded Municipalities for Youth project aims to improve cooperation and trust between youth and local governments by enabling local governments to address youth socioeconomic needs through better-targeted youth initiatives and services.

I4DI works closely with the Government of Kosovo’s Ministry of Local Government to develop a comprehensive monitoring, evaluation, and learning system for the project, which will include a 1) Monitoring and Learning Framework, 2) a twofold digital online platform consisting of (i) a public facing website and (ii) an open access Management Information System, and 3) an endline study. Through this work, I4DI is making a strong contribution in supporting the government’s capabilities in evidence-based decision-making to enable project staff to make well-informed program management decisions.
