Ochanya Adah is a Design & Data Visualization Specialist at I4DI, where she transforms complex evaluation findings and program data into clear, compelling visual products — from interactive dashboards and infographics to polished reports and training materials. She leads the design of user interfaces across I4DI’s digital platforms and works closely with technical teams to ensure that the firm’s outputs are not just rigorous, but accessible and engaging for the people who need to act on them.
Ochanya brings a human-centered design approach shaped by experience across the health, agriculture, and technology sectors. As a UX Design and Product Management Fellow with Innovate for Africa, she conducted feasibility research for a Tanzanian health startup and designed Agrimatch — a platform connecting Nigerian farmers to essential resources to improve food security in the face of climate change. Before joining I4DI, she honed her illustration and visual storytelling skills at Baseline HQ in the UK, creating educational materials that improved learning outcomes through better design.
Ochanya holds a B.Pharm. from the University of Ibadan, a Google UX Design certification, and is a scholar of the Geneza School of Design through the Ingressive for Good 1,000 Women in Design scholarship. She is an active member of the BMGA Fellows program, an initiative focused on women’s education and empowerment in Africa. She speaks English, French, and Idoma.
