Ochanya Adah is a Program Associate Consultant at I4DI. With a strong background in conducting and leading extensive user and market research and designing human-centered solutions, Ms. Adah brings to I4DI knowledge of product design and design thinking in the Health, Agriculture, and Information Technology sectors to advance human and economic development leveraging innovation, creativity, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Prior to joining I4DI, Ochanya worked on developing solutions to improve agricultural practices and food security affected by climate change in Nigeria as well as carrying out research and innovation projects focused on providing data-backed options for decision making geared towards improving government health policy making in Tanzania.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan and is an active member of the BMGA fellows program, an initiative that is geared towards women education and empowerment in Africa. She is also a fellow at Innovate for Africa, a program with a mission to create the next generation of African innovators while supporting existing innovators. In her spare time, she runs a video blog as a singer, writer and artist.
