Manny Sanchez is the Director of Strategic & Global Initiatives for I4DI. As a technical advisor and thought partner to industry stakeholders, he has over 13 years of expertise designing, managing, and evaluating international programs and partnerships. Most recently, he managed a $15 million multi-program, multi-donor portfolio (USAID and U.S. Department of State) of international higher education partnerships on varied technical issues around the globe.
As the senior program manager of the Initiative for Conservation in the Andean Amazon Higher Education Partnership Program, Mr. Sanchez harnessed a “design-and-build” program model and rigorous results-based management to lead the program to important advancements in the way biodiversity conservation and maintenance of the Andean Amazon Biome are being conceived, explained and applied in Amazonian academia.
Mr. Sanchez holds a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University in International Affairs, as well as Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
