Jovana Bulatovic is I4DI’s Evaluation and Research Associate. She has a strong background in public administration reform, notably in policy coordination, citizens’ participation in decision making, and strategic planning. Currently, she is also a Humphrey Fellow at Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
Prior to joining I4DI, Ms. Bulatovic worked on strengthening and implementing the legal framework for the improvement of strategic planning in Montenegro; with a specific focus on improving the quality of monitoring, reporting, evaluation of strategic documents, and evidence-based decision making. Her particular interest in gender mainstreaming has contributed to the promotion of this concept within the public administration of Montenegro.
Having worked in civil society sector as a policy researcher, Ms. Bulatovic has liaised with various local and regional (Western Balkans) non-governmental organizations and networks dealing with a variety of issues such as social protection, human rights, good governance.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies from Science Po Lille and University of Szeged (double degree program), and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Montenegro.
