Darin Hamlin – Senior Director of Programs

Darin Hamlin is I4DI’s Senior Director of Programs where he leads business development and MEL program management.  He brings to the position 20 years of experience overseeing design and implementation of projects in for-profit and non-profit settings in areas such as rule of law reform, youth gang prevention, food security, child protection, and conflict mitigation across Latin American and Asia-Pacific contexts.

Darin has served in a variety of senior business development and program quality- related roles including most recently as Asia-Pacific Program Quality Director for World Vision where he drove the strategic and operational focus of $200 million per year in programming across 17 countries to improve the health and education status of vulnerable children.  His work on monitoring, evaluation, research and learning resulted in new research partnerships with Johns Hopkins University and UNICEF.  In addition, Darin secured a $4.6 million USAID  innovation project to design and deliver cutting-edge program design, monitoring, evaluation, research and learning technical services to USAID missions.

Darin holds a Masters in Latin American government from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a Bachelors in Spanish and History/Political Science from Olivet Nazarene University.
