Bernard Vicary is I4DI’s Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Advisor. Mr. Vicary is an international development and humanitarian specialist with over 26 years of experience in various fields, including health, disaster management, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, ICT for development, capacity building, facilitation, and information systems development, as well as extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative methodologies. He led the development and implementation of a performance monitoring and impact indicator system for a major International NGO in 40+ countries. Mr. Vicary also developed and managed the implementation of a global learning, evaluation, accountability and planning system, including the design and lead of multiple capacity building workshops on performance monitoring and impact evaluation. Additionally, he led the design, development, and implementation of a program management information system for a major International NGO with a portfolio of over 2500 programs, in 100+ countries. Mr. Vicary has also taught design, monitoring, and evaluation of complex humanitarian emergencies at the Boston University School of Public Health. He holds an MPH in International Health and has extensive experience in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
